Inspiring Employees. Impacting the Community.
As a not-for-profit hospital we rely on the generosity of others, including our employees, to make the highest quality patient care available to our patients.
The Lifesaver Club is a voluntary employee giving club that inspires Huntsville Hospital employees to impact the health of our community through charitable contributions.
Through their generosity Huntsville Hospital employees demonstrate that working at Huntsville Hospital is more than just a job, and that they are committed to the organization’s success. These employees set an example that encourages others to believe in and give to Huntsville and Madison Hospitals too.
Since 1989, the Lifesaver Club has been an essential force in raising funds for the benefit and growth of Huntsville Hospital. The club is Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s largest group of donors, raising more than $748,000 in fiscal year 2012.
Funds raised are used for equipment purchases, the employee emergency fund, scholarships, and special projects which often exceed the hospital’s budgeted resources.
