The Millennium Society continues the hospital’s legacy of volunteerism, philanthropy and strong community support that began in 1895 when the Ladies of the United Charities founded the Huntsville Infirmary, now one of the largest hospitals in the country.

The Society is a generous, diverse group of women who support Huntsville Hospital Foundation. Membership is open to all women with a passion for supporting health care in North Alabama through an annual contribution of at least $1,000. Each year, the group votes and chooses a hospital department or program to support.
