Prior to joining the Foundation, Jennifer enjoyed a 20-plus year career working in business development for an engineering software company before taking a break to care for her family in 2019.
She has served in numerous leadership roles in nonprofit organizations in North Alabama including Past President of the Junior League of Huntsville, the Huntsville Ballet Guild, and the Michael Scott Learning Center, as well as an Advisory Board Member for the UAH Early Learning Center Rise Program, Capital Campaign Co-Chair for Fantasy Playhouse’s Spotlight on the Future Campaign, and Vice-Chair of the Huntsville Madison County Library Foundation. She currently serves on the Community Foundation Ambassador Council, Randolph School Community Network, and as Recording Secretary for the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild.
She has Co-Chaired Panoply, Huntsville’s Festival of the Arts, Vive Le Livre, benefiting the Huntsville Madison County Library Foundation, Seafare, benefiting Arts Huntsville, and other fundraising events since moving to Huntsville in 1997. She also still actively volunteers and supports events in her native Jackson County Alabama whenever possible. In 2018 she was honored to be a nominee for the 50th Annual Virginia Hammill Simms Award recognizing volunteerism in the arts.
She is a graduate of Leadership Huntsville/Madison County Class 25, and Leadership Jackson County.
Jennifer and her husband, Max, can usually be found in the stands cheering for their daughter’s numerous sporting events, or spending time with their girls on their family farm in Hollywood, Alabama.
