Diane Brown, Director of Government Grants, is responsible for grant research, submissions, and stewardship for the Foundation.

Diane began her career in publishing with Oxmoor House Books, followed by eight years as a technical writer on international projects with SAIC and Labat Anderson before joining the Foundation in late 2010. As a seasoned writer, she has provided professional marketing and business writing by contract to a variety of corporations in the private sector.

Diane holds a B.A. in English from the University of Alabama and attended Howard University's Book Publishing Institute in Washington D.C.

A Huntsville native, Diane currently serves as an associate member of the Women’s Guild of the Huntsville Museum of Art, is a Lincoln Village Ambassador, and is a member of the Foundation’s Millennium Society and Societies of 1895 & 2012.
